The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. SCOPE/PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The senior client systems engineer is an experienced technical specialist in the implementation, support, and maintenance of enterprise EUC environments and Windows systems. The Senior Client Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting the EUC Architect in the design and implementation of industry standard EUC technologies including MECM. They will act as a point of escalation for EUC engineering and offer essential guidance on support and maintenance activities while also providing expertise to projects which require technical advice or L3 task completion.This role will be responsible for build, configuration, deployment, and support activities across the EUC technology stack and will support the EUC Architect in platform ownership functions including leading on support with vendors, engaging with businesses and technical stakeholders and coaching / training the rest of the EUC team on technical tasks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Offer technical support, maintenance, and escalation point for all EUS owner platforms and technologies, providing guidance and assistance to EUS engineers on support issues, project tasks, and technical matters.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional tech leads and service/support owners to ensure EUC technology delivers value, meets corporate standards, integrates with the wider technology stack appropriately, and designs solutions/processes that meet business needs, improve user experience, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Create, review & facilitate documentation/records management via associated repositories (ACE, Knowledge Base, SharePoint etc.)

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 7 years EUC engineering roles

  • Experience of working in large corporations & complex technical environments

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong verbal/written skills and the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships in a team communication atmosphere.

  • Proficient in configuring, implementing, supporting, and maintaining various EUC technologies, with a focus on the following:

  • Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

  • Windows 11

  • Patching

  • Group Policy

  • Image creation and deployment

  • M365 Apps

  • Intune / Autopilot

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with a DEX technology (Nexthink preferred)

  • Experience with virtual solutions and technologies such as AVD/W365, Citrix, VMWare etc.

  • Experience in macOS and Jamf

  • Ability to create detailed process and technical documents as required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant technical qualifications / certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relative work experience

LOCATION & TRAVEL:

  • Remote

  • Occasional travel may be required to meet business / strategic needs. (10-25%)

The range for this position is $113,099.00 - $155,512.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
