Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Scope of Position: As a member of CDT Display Application Laboratory, you will be responsible for sample storage/preparation/logistics, and performing measurement and process experiments in laboratories. This is a full time Sullivan Park on-site position without WFM option. Occasional participation in evening calls and overtime work are required.
Role & Responsibilities:
Coordinating glass sample logistics among multiple groups for bench marking analysis
Glass sample preparation (cutting, washing and shipping to international locations)
Tracking inventory of samples stored in on and off-site storage
Performing measurement and process experiments in laboratories and associated data processing
Participating in conference calls (occasionally evening time) to discuss the results with team members in international locations
Required Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering
Work Experience: 2+ years of working experience in the laboratory environment
Required Skills:
Word, Excel, Power Point
Good communication
Desired Skills:
VB, MatLab, Python or other
Experience in building custom fixtures for measurement
Familiarity with glass handling
Being a team member who is open and engaging to effectively collaborate with others
Technical curiosity to learn new ideas and discipline

The range for this position is $55,109.00 - $75,775.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
