Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible to handle MRO IA part purchase requests.

  • Ensure supply of maintenance/ADM services and MRO part/non-inventory products, coordinate with global & division team to provide timely service to end users.

  • Strictly follow company policies to handle purchase request, select supplier, negotiate price and maintain all relative documentation & data.

  • Implement supply strategies in daily operation.

  • Identify and take preventive actions to reduce supply risks.

  • Define key suppliers, monitor and continuously improve supplier performance through regular performance evaluation, business review meeting and on-site audit.

  • Keep regular review with plant leaderships & key end users, listen to their voices and improve service level.

  • Closely work with end users to seek cost reduction opportunities, participate in bundle buy, second source, localization projects to achieve annual saving targets.

  • Host regular trainings and support end users to follow procurement policies.

  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree, major in business administration, Engineer or other related

  • 3 years’ experience in indirect purchasing & contract negotiation area is preferred

  • Fluent English in oral and written
